As your County Commissioner, I am committed first and foremost to being a strong and energetic voice for the often-forgotten property tax payer in Monroe County. At times, government officials lose track of the fact that every dollar spent comes from the constituents they serve!

My commitment to you is that I will not forget the source of the County’s budget and that I will be careful and responsible with taxpayer money, making certain I vote to spend only on those things that are necessary and important to making Monroe County a safe, thriving environment for families and businesses.

Prior to being elected, our district had not been kept well-informed about the business of our County—and many residents were never contacted about the issues that directly affected our District. As is too often the case, they just get a request for a vote every two years. 

Monthly Town Halls will keep you updated, so you can express any concerns you have BEFORE Commissioners meet and vote... or feel free to join us the first and third Monday of each month in the Commissioner's Board Room on the first floor of the Court House.
